The short version
This app does not ask for, collect or send any personal information. There are no accounts, forms, ads, analytics or cookies. Once the page has loaded, the app makes no further network requests.
What is saved on your device
The app uses your browser's local storage (and, if you use backups, IndexedDB) to remember the items below. They stay on your device and are never sent anywhere by the app.
- theme: light or dark mode
- mode: the last game you opened
- sound: whether sound is on or off
- mbarcade.v1: your all-time game stats (plays, wins, streaks)
- mbarcade.lastBackup, mbarcade.fileJson, mbarcade.fileCsv: when you last saved a backup and the names of the backup files you chose
- mbarcade.onboarded: that you closed the welcome screen
- IndexedDB “mbarcade”: the remembered backup file locations, so Save backup now can overwrite the same file
Per-session numbers (current streaks, cards left) live in memory only and reset when you close or reload the page.
Backups you save
Backup files (JSON or CSV) are written to the place you pick on your own device. The app never uploads them. If you store them in a synced folder, that service's own policy applies. The app can only see the file name, not the full folder path.
What the app does not control
Your browser requests this page from the website's host. Hosts commonly keep server logs, such as your IP address and the time of the request. The app cannot see those logs and does not add any tracking to them. Check the host's own policy if this matters to you.
Clear saved data
You can remove everything listed above. Backup files you saved yourself are not touched.
Children
The app does not ask for personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If the app ever starts collecting or sending information, this page will be updated first and the date above will change.
